The Principle received its seal from The Dove Foundation with 4 out of 5 stars!

Dove Review

“The Principle” is a fascinating documentary, utilizing animation, interviews with scientific experts, and a history of the greats, such as Copernicus and Einstein. It focuses on the science of the Earth and explores the possibility of a Creator, a grand designer.

It quotes several scientists and philosophers, such as Carl Sagan, who said the Earth is an insignificant planet. But is it really? The film explores the subject of cosmology, and one person suggests the fingerprint of God is evident in our universe. Expert Ron Hatch mentions the countless experiments that have been conducted to learn more about our solar system and Earth’s beginnings but says, “They’ve run into dead ends.” The film also considers the book of Genesis, as well as the Julian calendar. It also features Kepler and Ptolemy and the theories of motion, as well as Albert Einstein’s well-known Theory of Relativity, Isaac Newton and Galileo. Some experts disagree on whether a Creator falls into the category of possibility, and most of them concede that the idea of God must be considered seriously. In light of scientific principles, the film also examines the effect of the Earth’s orbit and the speed of light.

  1. Describing such material one must be very careful. For example, above we read about the Principle that suggests all the evidence, that which scientific conclusions are based on, points to a geocentric order for OUR world. Yet the very last sentence reads: ‘In light of scientific principles, the film also examines the effect of the Earth’s orbit and the speed of light.’ This states the earth is in orbit. What orbit has the earth in a geocentric scenario? Surely it should read: ‘the film examines the speed of light as it pertains to whether the earth is in orbit OR NOT.’

    God bless.

Old habits of thought are difficult to overcome.

And there is no habit of thought more deeply inculcated into the modern mind than the notion that Copernicus demonstrated the earth to be in motion around the sun.

      Which, of course, he didn’t.

      Neither has anyone else.
